Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the U.S. Every 14 seconds, someone in the world is diagnosed with breast cancer. An estimated 43,700 people will die in the US alone from breast cancer in 2023.
The images you are about to see showcase each woman's beauty. They all were given the opportunity to be photographed in a vision they have always wanted to bring to life. From couture gowns to gold makeup, we wanted to allow each woman to experience their inner and outer beauty during their journey with breast cancer. Ahead, you will find Previvors, women undergoing chemo treatments, and Survivors.
Behind each portrait, you can read their story and see images of their scars from the battles they have or are experiencing. These images are intentionally made smaller as a reminder that you do not see their daily experiences.
